What is Cartoon Licensing? Simply put, it is an agreement between an artist (Licensor) and a manufacturer
(Licensee) to feature the artist’s property (artwork) on a specific product manufactured by the Licensee
for a designated period of time, in a designated territory. In return, a fee (royalty) is paid by the
Licensee to the Licensor for each product sold, based on the wholesale price of the item.
